What it means to drive change and impact has and will always be open for debate. What is for certain though is today’s leaders and executives face unprecedented challenges across many fronts.

On the one hand, leaders face the challenge of transforming their organisations amidst factors such as the emergence of technologies like AI, 5G, IOT, AR/VR, Blockchain and 3D printing which are redefining competitiveness as well as impacting society in ways unthinkable only 10 years ago.

On the other hand, leaders also face the challenge of transforming themselves amidst factors such as balancing sustainable health, wellness, family and relationships.

In totality, the asymmetric challenges leaders face from the pursuit of simultaneous personal and organisational transformation should be viewed as the drive for change and impact under wicked conditions. One way leaders are proactively seeking to learn from and adapt to these dynamics is through Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) or Executive PhD programs.

We believe the 4th Industrial Revolution will dare and demand leaders to tread the path less taken and not be satisfied with status quo thinking and doing. On the contrary, it will demand openness and receptivity to new ways of learning and doing - continuous stress-testing world views and related assumptions.

We invite you to join us to hear from executive level perspectives on how and where they are seeking to drive disproportionate change and impact at individual and organisational levels.

Therefore, we challenge you to consider:

  • What are wicked problems and challenges that executives are facing across various industries and geographies?
  • How are leaders characterizing non-traditional factors into their strategy and plans such as impact of their product/service to environment, education, health or society?
  • What are latest thinking and cutting edge executive research projects across domains such as strategy, operations, finance, technology, entrepreneurship or marketing?
  • How are executives driving change, impact and making a practical contribution with their research?
  • What is the role and impact of higher education such as Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) and Executive PhD programs?

Over two short intense days, participants will be immersed to highly interactive, hands-on sessions to explore impact and change from a spectrum of executive/leader perspectives. More specifically, participants will engage with a mix of content from speakers, panels, presentations, workshops and networking.

Day 1 - half day (Nov 30, 2019) - strategy workshops (by invitation)
