CONFERENCE PROPOSALS

Submit a Proposal

Our next Warwick CG Conference is slated for February 2021. We invite you to share proposals for papers, posters, panels or workshops. If accepted, these proposals will be reviewed by WCG Directors and you will be invited to present to the conference.

​Please fill in the form below or submit all proposals to info@warwickcg.com with "Proposal for Warwick CG Conference 2021" in the subject line and indicate clearly whether you are submitting a paper, poster, panel or workshop proposal. Use Word for PC for attached documents and include a brief abstract with the key takeaways the audience/participants will have. If you are interested in proposing a panel, please include the list of suggested panel members with bios for each. 

  • Paper
    We invite you to share proposals for papers, posters, panels or workshops. If accepted, these proposals will be reviewed by WCG Directors and you will be invited to present to the conference. ​ Papers include a written Word Document as well as a summary of your research to be presented in front of an audience which will be included in the main conference program. GUIDELINES Prepare an electronic version of the manuscript in Word for PC, in English, with one-inch margins. Manuscripts are limited to 10,000 words all included. Use the Times Roman 12-point font, single-spaced for the body of the paper; use Times Roman in figures and tables. Check all electronic documents for viruses. Ensure that references are complete and match the text.
  • Poster
    Posters should include a summary of your research project to be shared and discussed with conference participants during the poster session. GUIDELINES Extended Abstract 2,000 words (or less) Use Word for PC, in English, with one-inch margins and Times Roman 12-point font, single-spaced Clearly, state the research question(s) Since posters are generally in-progress research pieces, clearly state the status of the research. E.g., have data been collected? Key references to support the research Figures, tables, and appendices as needed Poster A complete draft of the poster Create a single PowerPoint slide set to 36” (width) by 48” (height). More details will follow regarding how to print your accepted poster for the conference.
  • Panels
    Panels will be for presenting ideas and will engage the audience in discussion. They will include 3-5 participants with a facilitator based on a specific topic. If you are interested in proposing a panel, please include the list of suggested panel members with bios for each. GUIDELINES Panels and workshops can be up to 30 minutes long Extended abstract of 1,000 words or less Use Word for PC, in English, with one-inch margins, and Times Roman 12-point font, single-spaced
  • Workshops
    Workshops will include facilitation of a group or teams of groups on a certain topic or activity. GUIDELINES Workshops can be up to 90 minutes long and will be conducted in 3x 30 minute sections Extended abstract of 1,000 words or less Use Word for PC, in English, with one-inch margins, and Times Roman 12-point font, single-spaced
